Terms of Service — Forge OS
Effective 2026-08-07
These terms govern your use of Forge OS, operated by The Forge Agency, Castle Rock, Colorado. By creating an account or connecting a service, you agree to them.
1. What Forge OS does
Forge OS connects to business software you already use — accounting, your Google Business Profile, search and SEO tools — reads information from those services, and sends you a short daily summary of what needs your attention, along with suggested actions.
Forge OS reads. It does not act. It cannot create, modify, send, or delete anything in your connected accounts. Suggestions are for you to carry out.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the business you connect.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.
3. Connecting services
When you connect a service, you confirm you are authorized to grant that access.
We request read-only permissions. You can disconnect any service at any time, which revokes our access immediately.
Your use of QuickBooks Online, Google, Ahrefs, or any other connected service remains governed by your agreement with that provider. We are not a party to it, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or decisions.
4. 🔴 Forge OS is not professional advice
This section matters more than any other.
Forge OS is an informational tool. It is not an accountant, bookkeeper, auditor, attorney, or financial adviser, and nothing it produces is accounting, tax, legal, investment, or financial advice.
Specifically, Forge OS does not: keep your books, reconcile accounts, categorize transactions, run payroll, prepare or file taxes, or produce financial statements you can rely on for any regulatory, lending, or tax purpose.
Decisions about your money are yours. Verify anything material against your actual records before acting on it, and consult a qualified professional where the stakes warrant it.
5. Accuracy
Forge OS reports what it read from your connected services at the time it read it. We take real care with this — figures are calculated by our software rather than generated, and every summary is checked against its source records before it is sent.
We still cannot guarantee accuracy. Connected services can return incomplete or outdated data, a sync can fail, and data can change after we read it. A summary describes a moment in time, not the present.
When we could not read a source, we say so rather than implying nothing happened. Do not treat silence about a subject as confirmation that nothing is wrong with it.
6. Your data
You own your data. Connecting a service grants us permission to read and process it only to provide Forge OS to you.
We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to build products for anyone else. Handling and retention are described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Forge OS to break the law, to access data you are not authorized to access, to reverse engineer or resell the service, to overload or interfere with it, or to circumvent its limits.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Forge OS running and to deliver your summary each day. We do not promise uninterrupted service. It may be unavailable for maintenance, provider outages, or failures outside our control.
A missed or delayed summary is not a breach of these terms. Do not rely on Forge OS as your only means of noticing something about your business.
9. Fees
If your plan has a fee, it will be stated when you subscribe. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change.
10. Ending the agreement
You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or misuse, with notice where practical.
On termination we stop syncing and delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Warranties
Forge OS is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Forge Agency is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, or lost data.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify The Forge Agency against claims arising from your misuse of Forge OS, your breach of these terms, or your connecting a service you were not authorized to connect.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders before taking effect. Continuing to use Forge OS after that constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Douglas County, Colorado.
